Unidentified Deputies – Morgan County Sheriff’s Department

In December 2022, two brothers from Maryland alleged that Morgan County deputies used excessive force against them at the Troubadour Lounge in Berkeley Springs. One brother claimed he was handcuffed and thrown to the floor, while the other stated he was pressed forcefully against a sheriff’s car hood. The case was referred to a special prosecutor for investigation.
