Unnamed Officer (31-year-old) – Goose Creek Police Department

In January 2020, a 31-year-old officer was fired after admitting to a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old police explorer cadet he met during a ride-along. The affair had been ongoing since November 2019. The officer was terminated, and the State Law Enforcement Division determined no criminal violations occurred due to the age of consent laws in South Carolina.
