Unnamed Officer – Morgan County Sheriff’s Office

In December 2024, a Morgan County Sheriff’s deputy was involved in a fatal shooting during a traffic stop. The suspect, Drew Patterson Banks, led officers on a pursuit and displayed a replica handgun upon exiting the vehicle. The deputy’s use of force is currently under investigation.
